Gay has over 30 years experience in the human behavior field.  Prior to opening her counseling practice in 1999, she worked several years in the medical and psychiatric hospital setting, as well as outpatient clinics working with patients, families and groups.  She has had extensive training and experience in working with individuals who have chronic illness, cancer, disabilities or chronic pain.
